I was amazed to get back to epicor eco-system by way of an inquiry from Albany. Epicor has a list of impressive 20000 customer, agreed to the fact that they have got a huge list with Scala acquisition, at the same time, what Epicor is doing is very similar to what Infor has been doing and doing it so well.
Epicor 9 uses OpenEdge SOA platform, this is one of the best platforms for SOA, composite applications and even for Cloud. More later.
